The Cedar Team
We take pride in the diversity of the people that deliver our service and we have always ensured a broad age range exists within the Cedar Team. Having
staff in their 50s, 40s, 30s and 20s ensures that the enthusiasm and energy of our younger team members is complemented to the full by the experience and
wisdom that only age can bring. All of our team are either fully qualified or are actively working towards full professional qualification, and in addition
every member of staff is encouraged to take ongoing training and development as part of their regular personal development planning process.
The core Cedar Team consisting of Nursery Assistants and Nursery Nurses is led by a team of line managers - each of whom is responsible for the service
delivery in their room.
The business is led by Yvonne Gordon, who started Cedar Nursery in October 1996. Having established a reputation for excellence, Yvonne was invited to
chair the East Dunbartonshire partnership forum. This forum acts as the key liaison process between East Dunbartonshire Council and the local Partnership
