Quality Of Service
In 1999, a mere two years after startup, Cedar Nursery was awarded a near-perfect report by Her Majesty's Inspector Of Education.
The quality of our service has continued in this vein ever since - indeed we have been at the forefront of pre-five practice such as the encouragement
of children to participate in mealtimes and snacktimes that are organised around communal sitting-times where children learn table
manners and how to interact socially.
In addition, it has always been Cedar policy to operate staff to child ratios in excess of that required by legislation. While local authorities
are required to operate only a 1:10 ratio, Cedar habitually plans and operates on a 1:4 ratio (the legal minimum being 1:8). This ensures lower levels
of stress within the team, and a correspondingly better experience for your child. We take pride in our very low level of staff turnover.
